"We were spending four days in Ireland visiting family and Goosers was high on the list of places to take us to, and I can see why. A cosy, warm and friendly pub full of life and people. We visited one wet and cold afternoon and enjoyed a couple of Hot Whiskeys along with some freshly cooked Chips (just to warm us up a bit!). Lots of people were eating what looked and smelt to be excellent food. Roaring fires, great atmosphere and friendly service. Two young men that were twins served me which slightly foxed me at first and had a laugh with them about it! Excellent place. Look forward to visiting again and having a meal. Seems like the best spot in a beautiful town."

"We visited this pub twice when we stayed in Ireland before Christmas. It is a lovely traditional pub, and with its Christmas lights added to the atmosphere. Big log fire to sit and contemplate the area. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was good and wholesome. Killaloe and Balina are linked towns and are totally unspoiled which adds to their attraction. The pub is within easy walk of the town and is certainly worth a visit."

"Without doubt, one of the best locations to eat in Ballina. A great pub atmosphere with a separate restaurant area. There is simply so much choice on the menu that you will struggle to decide. In addition they also have a daily specials board. All food was well presented, with decent portion size and outstanding taste. Highly recommended."
